Tarmaster Jones are pleased to have had a major role in the rejuvination of Penmaenmawr town centre in North Wales. Under the Townscape Heritage Inititative (THI), TJA were commissioned as project architects by CCBC grants department to design and administer various refurbishment projects in the town centre. The projects involved various external refurbishment works including new shopfronts, roof, windows etc which required good conservation design approach working with the local authority conservation department. Projects include 1-3 Oxford Arcade, which was vertually re-build from scratch, 4 and 5 Oxford Arcade, the old chemist shop, Bank Buildings and Cambrian House. Work commenced some two years ago and has only just recently completed.
